Job DescriptionTHIS ROLE IS AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED NURSES ONLYClinical Lead Nurse - Nursing Home Experience Essential40 hours per week Days For this post nursing home experience essential good understanding of PCS system, medication management strong leadership in orser to build and manage a team. Excellent understanding of dementia and complex care auditing and Clinical Governance. Other skills required:We look for strong clinical decision-making land Care Planning anundertanding CQC inspections and requirments Safeguarding and associated paperwork. Syringe driver experience,Catheterisation,Bloods,Peg Feed,Stoma Care, Good understanding of Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of liberty. Your skills will shine as you champion dignity and safety, serve as a role model to those working with you, and provide a true sense of purpose to those living with us.Key responsibilities of the role include:Assisting the Home Manager and/or Deputy Manager with administrative duties as well as nursing/care tasksMaintaining overall responsibility of nursing/care management and care governance in the absence of the Home manager, including working as Nurse in charge.Medication administration and Care plan qualityProviding physical, emotional, and spiritual support to our residentsEnsuring resident safety and implementing safeguarding policiesTeam management and shift planningCoaching, training and mentoringInfection prevention and controlLiaising with General Practitioners and Multi-Disciplinary TeamsAssisting the Home Manager with
care home inspections and visits where requiredUpholding clinical governance standards and leading clinical governance meetingsAbout youBeing one of our Clinical Leads means demonstrating compassion, dedication, and commitment towards enhancing the quality of life for others. You take every challenge in your stride and your goal is to always achieve the best outcomes.You will have developed leadership skills by supervising teams, ideally in care home settings, and you will have excellent knowledge of safeguarding, DoLs and the Mental Capacity Act, putting this into practice when guiding others.
