Full Job Description
The core responsibilities of this role are to provide day to day clinical leadership for the CMHT. As community mental health services continue to transform, this is key role which requires the post holder to embrace and lead change positively and support to shape the future of the service. The Clinical Lead will work as part of a triumvirate leadership structure alongside a B7 Operational Manager (OM) and a B7 Specialist Nurse to lead the CMHT reporting to a B8a locality Service Manager., The Clinical Lead (CL) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality evidenced based care in the CMHT that is recovery focused; they will be a source of expert clinical advice, leadership and support to the CMHT.They will be expected to use a range of systems including SystmOne, SMART, MaST and Datix. The CL will have oversight and planning of the workload of the clinical team on a day to day basis.They will also work alongside the OM to ensure adherence to local and national safeguarding procedures and the developing, implementation and embedding of national / local policy.
