This exciting opportunity offers a unique development opportunity for doctors at Resident Doctor non-training grade. It combines in-hours clinical work with an opportunity to obtain a funded Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (PG Cert Med Ed) with the University of Leicester. Clinical Responsibilities Daily medical cover for step-down rehabilitation patients in community hospitals. Working within an MDT framework to optimize patient outcomes. Escalation of clinical concerns to the ward consultant as required. Participation in biweekly consultant/GP-led ward rounds. Medical Education Responsibilities Optional one session (am/pm) per week dedicated to completing a PG Cert in Medical Education at Leicester University (fully funded). Supporting the learning needs of undergraduate medical and nursing students on placement.
