Clinical Fellow (ST3+) in Trauma & Orthopaedics

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the orthopaedic team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. A one year fixed term Trust doctor post (ST3+) is available., The post holder will work within the multidisciplinary team and will be assigned to two consultants over the one year period (six months each). The timetable includes substantial theatre time, clinics, ward rounds and on-call commitments as well as protected time for research and admin. The department is committed to education and there is a weekly formal multidisciplinary educational meeting, in addition to daily trauma meetings. The successful candidate will be expected to take part in audit, research and education. They will also be expected to attend appropriate surgical courses for which a study leave budget will be available. The department is committed to supporting the clinical fellow in furthering their skills as a surgeon.
