Full Job Description

The clinical fellow will gain useful training in understanding integrated MDT management of complex scenarios and of working in an integrated pathway with community services and primary care who also contribute significantly to care in Long COVID and other post viral illness. Of note the service is increasingly evolving so that patients can be referred for assessment and treatment for any suspected post viral illnesses and works collaboratively with other similar services in North Central London. Digital innovation has been adopted to support triage and rehabilitation and the service has a strong focus on capture of quality clinical data to support learning and research in this new field. The post-COVID Service is actively engaged in developing and testing clinical hypotheses regarding the mechanism and treatment of post-COVID syndrome, and clinicians from the service have played an active role in the development of National Guidelines, and research programmes. It is anticipated that the clinical fellow would be able to contribute to a number of ongoing pieces of clinical research underway in the clinic., Please note that all correspondence regarding your application will be via email.
