Clinical Fellow in Spinal Surgery (ST3+ level)

Applications are invited for this post, which will provide training in all aspects of spinal surgery including adult, paediatric, spinal sarcoma, deformity and acute disorders as well as providing opportunities for research into spinal disorders., These posts are created to provide training in all aspects of spinal surgery and opportunities for research in spinal disorders. The balance of the post can be adjusted depending on the requirements of the appointee. For a senior appointee advanced training in adult and paediatric spinal surgery will be available including spinal deformity from both an orthopaedic and neurosurgical perspective as well as Spinal Sarcoma training. The post can be adjusted to provide more basic training in orthopaedic spinal surgery with additional sessions for research into spinal disorders.

Previous experience of Spinal Surgery is essential and applicants must possess part 2 FRCS (or equivalent). The duties of the post will be adjusted to suit the particular experience and training requirements of the successful candidate.
