Full Job Description
The Senior Clinical Fellow will work under the supervision of the Consultants in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and will:
- Provide Registrar level support to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.
- Participate in the 1:18 ST3+ rota, including on call
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and carers.
- When not directly supervised, Consultant advice and cover is always available. In case of difficulties of any kind, the post holder will seek the advice of the appropriate consultant.
- So far as is consistent with the proper discharge of the above duties, the appointee undertakes to deputise from time to time for absent colleagues. Key tasks of the Post:
- This post is 12 months fixed term
- The post holder will provide Registrar level support to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.
- The appointed applicant will participate in the 1:18 ST3+ rota, including on call
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and carers.
- When not directly supervised, Consultant advice and cover is always available. In case of difficulties of any kind, the post holder will seek the advice of the appropriate consultant.
- So far as is consistent with the proper discharge of the above duties, the appointee undertakes to deputise from time to time for absent colleagues.
- The appointee undertakes, exceptionally, to perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances. Our Trust provides hospital services to a growing population of around 700,000 people living across Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas across two busy hospital sites in Bedford and Luton.
