Full Job Description
Acting as tutor / mentor for Cardiff Year 3 students during their ENT teaching 1-week course (included in the C21 programme within the Surgery & Oncology block). Delivering and development of teaching clinics to run alongside general and specialist ENT clinics and theatre lists. Facilitating and conducting ENT tutorials during the C21 Surgery & Oncology module Clinical demonstrations. Demonstrating and teaching clinical skills during the ENT module Chairing student case presentations Bed-side teaching of small groups of students Development of e-learning programmes for undergraduate students They would also attend the PoWH ENT ward rounds, theatre sessions and on-call activities, as well as Grand Rounds and other educational opportunities. The post holder will be expected to contribute to training on communication skills, professionalism tutorials, tutor roles and ad-hoc ENT teaching of students, trainees and allied healthcare professionals.
