Full Job Description

We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join our well integrated team. The Newcastle Diabetes and Endocrinology team seeks a medical doctor for a full-time clinical fellow post exclusively devoted to the specialty, with no core inpatient or ward cover requirements. There is a wide variety of subspecialty clinics and clinical activities available with the post having the flexibility to allow the medical doctor the choice to develop his/her own subspecialty interests. If desired, there is the option for out-of-hours ward cover on-calls to acquire banding for salary purposes.Main duties of the job Newcastle has a high-profile Diabetes service with national recognition of clinical excellence and a nationally and internationally celebrated research programme.
