This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and enthusiastic team who believe in leading from the front line, with the aim of providing outstanding care to our community and investing in the well-being and development of our people. This is an opportunity for a Speciality Doctor (ST3+ equivalent) to join our Acute Medicine team at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. It would be ideally suited to individuals who are interested in a career in Acute Internal Medicine., The post holder will join the Acute Medicine Team as Clinical Fellow (ST3+ equivalent) and will be part of our middle grade rota. The post holder will contribute to the provision of clinical care to patients admitted under acute medicine; including in AMU, SDEC, and the Medical Take. Clinical Responsibilities: Provide, alongside the current team, the acute medicine service at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, including in-patient, same day emergency care and virtual acute care. Comply with the GMC requirements of the Duties of a Doctor at all times, Please see the job description pack for full details of the role.   • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Holds a current licence to practice from, the GMC by the intended start date
  • Clinical Skills,
  • Evidence of skills in the management of patients not requiring hospital admission
  • Evidence of skills in the management of acute medical emergencies (e.g. ALERT, IMPACT certification), Demonstrates understanding of the basic principles of audit, clinical risk management, evidence based practice, patient safety and clinical quality improvement initiatives
