This is a unique opportunity to join the Research and Development team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, supporting the delivery of non-commercial and commercial research across the organisation, with a particular focus on cardiovascular research. Further details can be found at BMA+-+Framework+Agreement+Wales., The postholder will contribute to the successful delivery of multiple concurrent research studies, ensuring that activity is conducted in accordance with study protocols, UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care in Wales, Good Clinical Practice and relevant legislation. As part of the R&D team, they will work closely with clinical teams, study sponsors, clinical research organisations, academic and industry partners and support departments both internal and external to the UHB. Opportunities will also be available to contribute to protocol development, present research findings to colleagues and at conferences, and submit work to peer-reviewed journals., The post holder will be required to support all aspects of the clinical research pathway to include screening, provision of specialist advice and guidance on the research process, informed consent, the undertaking of study-related procedures, sample collection to include phlebotomy, standard observations, medical history taking, telephone screening, completion of questionnaires, assessments and interventions, administration of investigational medicinal product and follow-ups, in line with approved research protocols.
