Full Job Description

Join a dynamic team at South Central Ambulance Service NHS Trust, where both independent and collaborative work are essential. This role involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of medical devices and equipment across multiple Trust sites--so a valid driving license and willingness to travel are required.,

  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, and repairs on critical medical equipment.
  • Investigate and resolve faults on complex medical devices, ensuring they are safe and effective.
  • Communicate with clinical staff, operational teams, and responder groups to understand and assess device issues.
  • Support assurance of correct diagnosis and treatment through reliable equipment performance.
  • Types of Equipment You'll Work On:
  • Airway management devices
  • Medical gas systems
  • Patient lifting equipment
  • Patient monitoring systems

    Strong mechanical/electronic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a mobile team
  • Excellent communication skills with clinical and operational stakeholders
  • Experience or training in working with medical equipment (desired)
