An opportunity has arisen at Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust for a dedicated individual to join the Clinical Effectiveness and Audit (CEA) team as an audit facilitator. Part of the clinical directorate the post holder will have a key role in championing clinical audit across the organisation.The post is full time (37.5 hours per week) and is primarilyworking within the Clinical Effectiveness and Audit (CEA) team, whose function is to provide timely and accurate provision of clinical data and support the delivery of quality clinical audits. Responsibilities include supporting and facilitating internal and external clinical audit data requests with the ability to extract data from the data warehouses primarily using SQL to create an amend scripts. They will need to be self-motivated and be able to use their own initiative, whilst also being a team player. The main duties of the role are: · Facilitate clinical audits using the HQIP method of clinical audit and support the CEA assistants to provide data templates. · Extract data form the data warehouses using SQL and create SQL scripts. · Work with clinical leads to provide clear and accurate clinical audit reports with relevant references. · Work with sensitive and sometimes complex patient data with the support of clinical colleagues. · Communicate audit findings in a variety of settings to a varied audience using power point and infographic posters. · Actively promote the work of clinical audit within YAS and contribute to activities which increase effective operational input into clinical audit at YAS.
