Are you an experienced Anaesthetic and Recovery practitioner with a passion for education?
Are you driven to develop others, shape high-quality perioperative practice, and champion the delivery of outstanding patient care?
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Anaesthetic and Recovery Clinical Educator to join our dynamic Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington and Altrincham (WTWA) Theatres Education Team.
In this pivotal role, you will help ensure our WTWA theatre workforce has the confidence, competence and support needed to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative patient care.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the existing Anaesthetic and Recovery Clinical Educator to deliver cohesive and comprehensive education and support to our Anesthetic and Recovery colleagues., The successful candidate will;
develop and deliver tailored teaching for all WTWA theatre colleagues, taking a particular focus on developing core skills for new starters, newly registered staff, and practitioners new to theatre.
promote evidence-based practice, support clinical standards, and act as a role model within clinical areas.
provide visible clinical support, contributing to high-quality care and excellent patient experience.
facilitate clinical skills development, competency assessment, and opportunities for ongoing professional development.
provide advice on role competencies and contribute to the development and review of relevant competencies to ensure they reflect best practice and remain aligned with local and national guidelines/ policies.
