This role is central to growing our national and international research profile whilst developing the next generation of researchers and innovators across the organisation.The successful candidate will be an established researcher or innovator with senior leadership experience gained within healthcare, academia or another research-intensive environment. A proven track record of research excellence, academic credibility and influence at organisational and system level, along with a strong understanding of research and innovation across healthcare and commercial settings.Experience of setting strategic direction and delivering transformational change within complex stakeholder environments is required, together with a demonstrable ability to lead, mentor and

develop researchers and innovators.
