Clinical Digital Educator

Are you passionate about using digital innovation to improve care and support frontline staff to deliver the best possible outcomes? As a Clinical Digital Educator (CDE), you will play a key role in helping CQC-registered care homes across South West London embrace and embed digital solutions that enhance the quality, safety and coordination of care for residents. Working closely with care home staff, managers, digital champions, health and social care colleagues, and wider system partners, you will help build confidence, competence and digital maturity within care homes. Acting as a local digital education lead and advocate, you will support the successful integration of digital approaches into everyday practice and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. You will deliver clinical and digital training on a range of health-related technologies and tools, including Remote Monitoring, Universal Care Plan, London Shared Care Record, eRed Bag, Digital Social Care Records, NHSmail, the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT), RESTORE2 and other agreed digital solutions. The role includes supporting care staff to achieve and maintain the clinical competencies required to use assessment, escalation and communication tools safely and effectively in practice.,

• As part of the wider South West London digital enablement programme, you will help drive the adoption of technology that supports integrated working, strengthens care pathways and contributes to safe, coordinated and person-centred care for care home residents.
• Deliver practical clinical and digital education, coaching, and implementation support to staff across CQC-registered care homes.
• Support the safe adoption, effective use, and long-term embedding of digital systems, including remote monitoring, Universal Care Plan, London Shared Care Record, eRed Bag, NHSmail, Digital Social Care Records, and RESTORE2.
• Assess the digital capability and support needs of individual care homes, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop, implement, and review tailored improvement plans., Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or Registered Health Care Professional with current HCPC registration

• Post Graduate Certificate in Education
• Teaching Qualification or willingness to work towards one, Experience at working in a community health settings
• Significant clinical experience
• Recent evidence of continuing personal and professional development
• Experience of teaching and facilitation of clinical skills and digital skills in healthcare and/or social care settings
• Experience of giving formal presentations
• Experience providing Clinical Support
• Experience of working with Care Homes and establishing trusted relationships, Experience of working in a care home setting to implement change
• Project management experience, Evidence of change management skills
• Proven workload and diary management
• Knowledge of the care home landscape and how to implement change in it.
• Advanced IG knowledge
• Knowledge of the NEWS2 and RESTORE2 systems
• Experience supporting staff to use digital technology such as Remote Monitoring, UCP, London Shared Care Records
