Job Details

• Job Title: HCPC Registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist


• Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 pro-rata (depending on experience)


• Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week


• Annual Leave: 27-32 days + bank holidays (pro-rated)

• Contract: Permanent (subject to probation)


• Accountable To: Directors of Clinical Services

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, you'll provide specialist psychology services to clients at TCPC. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessment, formulation, and delivery of evidence-based interventions for adults with mental health needs.


• Offering individual interventions tailored to the needs of each client.


• Working with clients from diverse backgrounds and addressing a broad spectrum of psychological challenges.


• Working at least one evening clinic per week to accommodate clients' schedules.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a psychologist with experience working with adults (18+) in either NHS or private mental health settings. Ideal candidates will have:

• Expertise in managing complex presentations and neurodevelopmental conditions.


• Training in therapeutic modalities like Schema Therapy, DBT, EMDR, or Couples Therapy (desirable, but not essential).


• The ability to adapt interventions creatively and flexibly to suit the unique needs of each client.
