Full Job Description
This post is part of a small clinical audit team which helps to improve the quality of our services by facilitating a range of clinical audit and effectiveness projects. The person will be responsible for facilitating the clinical audit and effectiveness plan within our Trust, bringing together and prioritising work on initiatives including NICE guidelines, the National Audit Framework and local audit in a consistent way. The post has management responsibility for a part-time administrator.,
- Responsible and accountable on a day-to-day basis for clinical audit and
- effectiveness work in our Trust, Manage and coordinate priority projects required for implementation of clinical audit across our Trust To work with the Associate Director of Quality and Assurance to shape and lead our Trust's Clinical Audit and Effectiveness plan and to lead the implementation of this plan, as well as tracking progress and providing feedback on this throughout the year.
- Relevant degree or equivalent 5 years' experience in a healthcare setting, oExtensive knowledge and experience in working with NHS regulatory bodies and frameworks, oProven evidence of using different electronic systems including Microsoft Excel and to be able to use these to produce reports, Post graduate qualification in audit methodology or willingness to work towards, Post graduate qualification in audit methodology or willingness to work towards Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
