Clinical Associate Psychologist

Join Springwood Lodge as a Clinical Associate Psychologist and work with our multidisciplinary team, helping to provide evidence-based assessment, formulation, and intervention within an inpatient setting. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with service users, psychology colleagues, and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality psychological support and contribute to positive recovery outcomes. You will manage your own caseload, undertaking psychological assessments, developing formulations, and delivering a range of evidence-based individual and group interventions in line with NICE guidance. Working under the supervision of an experienced HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills while working with individuals presenting with complex psychological and mental health needs.
You will use a variety of assessment methods, including psychometric measures, structured observations, and clinica, As a Clinical Associate Psychologist at Springwood Lodge, you will take on a fulfilling role dedicated to delivering high-quality psychological care to individuals with complex mental health needs. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based assessments, formulations, and interventions in an inpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include working closely with service users and colleagues, managing your own caseload, and conducting psychological assessments informed by NICE guidance. You will have the opportunity to develop clinical skills under the supervision of an experienced HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist. Additionally, you will engage in staff training, service development, clinical governance, audits, research, and quality initiatives to enhance the care provided. This role demands resilience, compassion, and the ability to work effectively in emotionally demanding environments, often with individuals experiencing significant psychological
distress.
