Clinical Advanced Podiatrist

As a recognised clinical expert, you will lead the development and maintenance of high-quality clinical standards, driving excellence in practice, service delivery and patient outcomes. Working closely with colleagues across the Health Board, you will play a pivotal role in service improvement, performance management and the implementation of innovative, evidence-based approaches to care. Combining expert clinical knowledge with inspirational leadership, you will contribute to the ongoing development of modern, high-performing podiatry services that meet the needs of patients and support the future of the profession., This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced podiatrist to work as a highly specialist autonomous practitioner, providing expert assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients with complex vascular, diabetes and musculoskeletal conditions. You will manage a varied and challenging caseload, using advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to develop and deliver personalised care plans that achieve the best possible outcomes for patients. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with GPs, Consultants, Orthopaedic and Vascular teams and other healthcare professionals to support admission avoidance, complex community care and effective patient pathways. You will also provide specialist clinical advice, contribute to the development of service models across Hywel Dda, and play an important role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will support service improvement through audit, research and evaluation, helping to shape and enhance specialist podiatry services across the Health Board while promoting best practice and innovation.

Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.
