Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and compassionate Client Support Co-ordinator to join our small, friendly team. Based at our office at the Brighthelm Centre, you will be the first point of contact for clients and provide administrative support to our advisers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.,

  • Responding to client and public enquiries by phone, email, and in person
  • Triaging phone calls: handling routine queries and gathering information for advisers
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on our client database
  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
  • Providing general administrative support to advisers and the wider team
  • Updating standard documents and templates
  • Supporting general office coordination and administrative tasks as needed eg social media
  • Undertaking any other duties reasonably required to support the smooth running of the service

    Proven administrative experience, ideally in a busy, people-facing setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with empathy and patience
  • High attention to detail and good time management
  • Able to balance and prioritise multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, database systems and social media
  • A flexible, team-oriented approach and willingness to support colleagues
  • Commitment to SLAS 'S values and mission
  • Desirable:
  • Experience in a charity, advice, or community support setting (not essential training will be provided).

    St Luke's Advice Service (SLAS) is a small, dedicated charity based at the Brighthelm Centre near Brighton Station. We provide practical, compassionate support to some of the most vulnerable people in Brighton & Hove, helping them to navigate financial hardship, claim benefits, and regain stability.

    Successful candidate will be required to provide two referees
  • Role subject to an Enhanced DBS check
  • Due to the nature of our work, applicants must declare any criminal convictions (spent or unspent). A previous conviction will not necessarily prevent employment
