Full Job Description
Working within a small, dedicated team of integration experts, the role supports client evaluations of TransUnion API Solutions and provides integration support and technical consultancy services to both new and existing clients. It also involves offering best-practice advice on the implementation and testing of TransUnion API Solutions. Day to Day You'll Be:
- Key point of contact with both the clients technical and business teams throughout the integration process enabling the client to go live as soon as possible.
- Provide an excellent customer service which puts us ahead of our competitors for ease of integration.
- Have an excellent technical understanding of how clients can be setup and configured to best meet their requirements.
- Troubleshoot API integration related client queries to a high standard.
- Supporting product teams with product enhancements or new product initiatives.
- Build and maintain software development toolkits (SDK's) for TU API Solutions.
- Assisting the sales teams in responding to tenders / RFI's and delivering technical presentations to prospective clients (pre-sales).
Customer focused. - Able to understand products and services from a technical point of view.
- Strong communication skills; the ability to translate complex technical concepts in a way which non-technical users can understand is key.
- Forward thinking with a problem solving mentality.
- An understanding of Application Programming Interfaces (API).
- An understanding of XML and JSON.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Use of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Desirable Skills & Experience:
- An understanding of XML-SOAP Web Services, including WSDL/XSD, XPath and XSLT.
- An understanding of REST services.
- A basic understanding of software development principles i.e. functions, classes and object orientation.
- A basic understanding of systems and network architecture, including secure transport protocols such as TLS.
