ASSISTANT CLERK & RESPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER OF THE COUNCIL

Wooburn & Bourne End Parish Council

Salary dependent upon experience starting at £42,000

A full time vacancy has arisen for the position of Clerk / Responsible Financial Officer to the Wooburn & Bourne End Parish Council.

The Parish Council serves a population of 10,500 and has a constitution of 17 Councillors.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to manage the work of this large, progressive Parish Council, which is committed to serving the local community.

Skills / Qualifications:

Certificate in Local Council Administration – CiLCA, is a requirement but candidates that are committed to gaining the CiLCA qualification will be considered.

This is a hands-on role and applicants will need to have excellent administration, IT and communication skills, along with experience of staff management and people management. Knowledge of the local area would also be an advantage.
