We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning and Waste Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities while ensuring proper waste management practices are followed. Your primary duties will include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing designated areas, as well as collecting and disposing of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying cleaning needs will be essential for success in this position.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not required. You should be physically fit, as the role involves lifting and moving equipment and supplies. A commitment to providing a clean and safe environment for all users is paramount. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required to meet operational needs.
