Cleaning Supervisor

This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will lead the cleaning team and ensure consistently high standards are maintained across the site. You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the cleaning service, including allocating work, monitoring standards, managing rotas and supporting the team.,

• Lead and support the cleaning team to deliver consistently high standards
• Allocate daily tasks and manage rotas, absence and holiday cover
• Carry out regular quality checks and ensure cleaning standards are maintained
• Train and support team members, ensuring compliance with site procedures
• Ensure Health & Safety, COSHH, GMP and safe working practices are followed
• Manage cleaning equipment, materials and stock levels
• Complete required records, checks and compliance documentation
• Work closely with management and the client to resolve issues and maintain excellent service
  
  As the role operates within a standards and compliance-led environment, attention to detail and a strong approach to health, safety and cleaning procedures are essential., Previous experience as a Cleaning Supervisor is essential
• Proven experience leading, supporting and organising a cleaning team
• Good knowledge of professional cleaning methods, equipment and materials
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH and safe working practices
• Experience working to high standards in a compliance-focused environment
• Confident managing rotas, allocating workloads and monitoring cleaning standards
• Strong communication, organisation and people-management skills
• Reliable, proactive and able to resolve day-to-day operational issues
• Experience in a GMP, pharmaceutical, laboratory or regulated environment would be advantageous
• Relevant cleaning, IOSH, COSHH or BICSc qualifications would be beneficial
