Full Job Description
- Maintain and supervise the performance of cleaning staff in line with contractual KPIs. This will include training and arrangements of duty rotas and cover arrangements.
- Liaise with the Cleaning Manager to help provide cover for overtime, annual leave, absence etc and complete relevant staff timesheets.
- Allocation of work and quality control, check work schedules and resolve problems. Assist in compliance with the site waste management procedures.
- Ensure that RFM procedures and practices are adhered to i.e., Health & Safety and COSHH
- Ensure that the cleanliness of the site is maintained to the required standards by liaising with the Cleaning Manager on completion of quality audits.
- Check all equipment is clean in good working order reporting any faults to the Soft Services Manager
- Ensure safe working methods and report all accidents and incidents as appropriate
- Ensure efficient stock control, usage of materials and complete stock spreadsheets
- Respond to any helpdesk calls efficiently and on time as may be directed from time to time by the Cleaning Manager
Experience of cleaning in a Commercial capacity. - Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor preferred.
- Good customer care skills.
- Able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties accordingly.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety best practises.
- Awareness of COSHH regulations.
- Able to work to a high standard against agreed timescales with limited supervision.
