Job Title: Cleaning Supervisor (Rail Depot)
Rate of Pay: £16.50 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Weekly Contractual Hours: 40
Location: Hitachi Rail, Bridge Road, Bounds Green, London, Greater London, England, N22 7SN
We are seeking a Site Supervisor to join our rail depot team, with a clear pathway to progress into a Site Manager role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven supervisory experience, strong character, and the drive to lead and inspire a team.
Key Qualities
The ideal candidate should have a solid track record in cleaning supervisory roles and possess a strong character with excellent leadership skills. A good command of the English language, both written and spoken, is essential. Knowledge of Health & Safety is required, although training will be provided. The role demands a proactive, "can-do" attitude with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Additionally, the candidate must be competent in responding to emails and reporting site issues online.

The role involves overseeing daily site cleaning operations within the rail depot while ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety standards. You will lead and support team members to achieve operational goals, promptly report any site issues using online systems, and maintain effective communication with management and stakeholders.
