Full Job Description
We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Royal Derby Hospital with ISS Facility Services.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that patients, visitors, and staff receive exceptional service and support throughout their healthcare experience. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining our commitment to delivering the highest cleaning standards across the hospital environment.
The Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and operation of cleaning services across wards and public areas, reporting into the Cleaning Management team.
The Role
Plan, organise, and coordinate cleaning operations to meet financial and performance targets
Lead by example with a passion for customer service and strong, inspiring leadership
Set and maintain high standards for yourself and your team
Create and manage cleaning schedules for your team
Deliver an exceptional level of cleaning service within your area of responsibility
Carry out general cleaning duties, including offices, meeting rooms, toilets, showers, vacuuming, and mopping
Use all cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
Maintain a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety regulations and company standards
Excellent customer service skills
Reliable, hardworking, and professional in approach
A team player who works well with colleagues and customers
Able to communicate politely and effectively with all site users
Strong attention to detail, maintaining exceptional cleaning standards
Able to work effectively on your own initiative
Strong leadership skills
Relevant experience in cleaning and supervising cleaning operations, Disability Confident
