Full Job Description
We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our established Scottish Power Team, providing expert operational support across a multi-site cleaning contract. This role is central to ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting an effective operational delivery model., We are looking for an organised, confident leader who can manage staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure compliance with company policies and Health & Safety regulations. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent communication, high attention to detail, and the ability to work flexibly across the contract., Liaise closely with local clients to maintain strong working relationships
- Supervise, support and manage cleaning staff, including recruitment, training and performance reviews
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedural standards
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard in line with company policies
- Monitor attendance, productivity and work quality across sites
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance and high service delivery
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH
- Respond to and resolve customer complaints promptly
Proven experience in a cleaning or facilities management role
- Experience working within the FM/services industry and multi-site operations
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and Health & Safety regulations
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong customer focus with excellent verbal and good written communication
- Self-motivated with strong organisational and time-management skills
- Full UK driving licence (travel required), Disability Confident
