Cleaning - Cleaning Operative

• Carry out cleaning duties across office areas, welfare facilities, corridors, plant rooms and Data Halls.
• Vacuum, dust, mop and wipe down surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Conduct regular inspections and cleaning activities to ensure all areas remain clean, safe and operational.
• Perform dust control procedures in critical environments, following site-specific cleaning methods and standards.
• Buff, polish and jet wash floors where required.
• Empty, segregate and reline waste bins, ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
• Support recycling and waste management processes in line with site procedures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any defects or health and safety concerns.
• Follow all health and safety requirements, including Data Centre security and access procedures.
• Be flexible and support the wider team with additional duties as required.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure service levels are consistently achieved.
  
  Do you have good communication and interpersonal skills?
• Do you have a good standard of spoken and written English?
• Do you have experience in a cleaning, facilities, or housekeeping role? If not, full training will be provided.
• Are you reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team?
• Are you comfortable working in a security-controlled Centre environment?
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial. Free on-site parking is available for employees.(but not essential).
• Flexible and willing to support with additional duties when required.
