Cleaning Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our dedicated cleaning team at a busy College of Policing site. This is a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors. You'll be part of a large, supportive team working across various areas of the site, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are consistently met. Main Duties

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, classrooms, offices, communal areas, and specialist spaces.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with team members to cover all areas efficiently.
• Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and protocols.
  
  Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential - training will be provided).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
• Understanding of health and safety practices in a cleaning environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture.
