Full Job Description
We are looking for experienced cleaners to join our team to ensure that our staff and pupils are provided with a meticulously clean working and learning environment. In return for an eye to detail and a willingness to work hard, we offer a friendly and supportive working environment. We need:

- Understands the importance of good cleaning practices and safe use of chemicals and equipment. No formal qualifications are required; however, a good standard of literacy and numeracy is required to be able to read instructions and work out simple measurements. Previous experience is preferred but not essential., We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children; therefore, the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. We are now in our new building with increased capacity for additional pupils, and Governors of Pens Meadow School are seeking to appoint suitably experienced cleaners to join our friendly, hardworking team, and help us to keep our school clean. Pens Meadow currently provides quality education for 155 pupils aged 3 to 19 with complex learning needs, including medical conditions and autism. Our staff team are committed to improvement, and we believe in high standards, teamwork, and seeking the very best for every child in our care.
