Full Job Description
Mitie is looking for a reliable and committed Cleaner to join our team working within a prison environment. At Mitie, our expertise, care and insight create exceptional environments - and we're proud to support our people to be their best every day.
About the RoleYou will provide a high-quality cleaning service across designated areas within the centre, working safely and professionally around residents. This is a vital role in maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe environment for everyone on site.
Key Responsibilities
-Clean all areas including toilets, showers, fixtures and fittings to required standards
-Operate safely in line with COSHH regulations and Mitie standards
-Maintain and correctly store cleaning equipment and materials
-Report maintenance issues, stock levels and any health & safety concerns
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
-Able to work safely, discreetly and professionally in a secure environment
-Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
