Full Job Description
The successful candidate will provide high-quality cleaning and caretaking services to help maintain a safe, secure and hygienic environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Duties will include a mixture of cleaning, site maintenance and security responsibilities. Information drawn from the cleaner and caretaker role profiles.
Cleaning Duties Include
Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
Cleaning classrooms, offices and communal areas
Safe use and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
Maintaining cleaning records where required
Caretaking Duties
Opening and securing school buildings
Responding appropriately to alarms and site issues
Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance tasks
Supporting furniture moves and general portering duties
