Full Job Description

Maintain the overall cleanliness of a specified area to agreed standards and as allocated by the Catering and Commercial Manager or Supervisor, this will include:

  • Responsibilities for outside areas, grounds clearing, litter removal, cleaning duties whilst building still in use and preparation for morning cleans.
  • Litter removal inside building in busy areas
  • Cleaning offices, classrooms, laboratories, event areas, stairs, corridors, entrances etc.
  • High and low dusting (using both damp and dry dusting methods) desks, chairs, PCs, ledges, edges, sills etc
  • This post requires an early start of 6 am to ensure that our buildings are cleaned to the highest standards.

    We are looking for cleaners who are practical and have strong organisation skills. You will bring flexibility and practicality, along with a desire to ensure that the building is clean for our students and staff members.

    £24,580 to £24,632 per annum (Band 1, pro-rata for part-time) Permanent Nottingham College,
