Cleaner

The Link Academy are seeking a reliable and proactive Lead Cleaner to lead our dedicated cleaning team at the Academy. You will ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas, supervise the existing team, manage cleaning supplies, and support health and safety compliance. Duties include cleaning to specification, waste disposal, security responsibilities (locking/unlocking), equipment checks, and staff cover. You must be safety-conscious, organised, and willing to undertake training. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a clean, safe learning environment and support the effective running of the academy.

Inspectors highlighted the academy's calm, respectful and supportive environment, noting that pupils feel safe, demonstrate excellent attitudes to learning and benefit from strong pastoral care. The school achieved Strong judgements in attendance and behaviour, inclusion, leadership and governance, and personal development and wellbeing, with achievement, curriculum and teaching meeting the Expected standard. Achieving four Strong judgements under Ofsted's new inspection framework is a significant accomplishment and places the academy among a small number of schools in the region to achieve such recognition.
