Full Job Description
There is an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to support our services at Victoria Hospital, Wimborne
This post is 14 hours per week
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving a high standard of cleanliness in clinical areas throughout the main hospital, ensuring that a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained. Full on-site training is provided and PPE provision is also included.
This role involves working as a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.
The post offers an opportunity to work extra hours as able - to cover sickness and staff holidays.
Good pay rates -- weekend enhancements
Please note visa sponsorship for this role is unfortunately not available. Ensure you hold valid right to work in the UK and will not require sponsorship if successful., To support the Facilities Manager in their role and to ensure that the standard of cleanliness within the Trust is implemented andmaintained.
Main duties will include vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, cleaning toilets, emptying bins, use of mechanical floor cleaning machines.
Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check which the Trust will cover the cost of.
Following a review of our pre-employment checking process, with immediate effect the Trust has made the decision to no longer accept DBS checking and clearance through the DBS Update Service.
