As a Cleaner in our Leisure centre, you'll play a vital role in keeping our facilities clean, safe and welcoming for everyone who uses them. Your work helps create positive experiences for customers and supports the wellbeing of the communities we serve. This is a hands-on role with real purpose. From maintaining high standards of cleanliness to supporting safe, enjoyable environments for adults and children alike, your work will have a direct and visible impact every day. If you take pride in doing a job properly and want to be part of a team that cares, you'll feel right at home here. What you'll do as a Cleaner You'll be entrusted to:

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the facility at all times
• Carry out cleaning tasks safely, following health and safety procedures and using signage where required
• Handle cleaning chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) assessments
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete checklists accurately
• Inspect equipment before use, use it safely, and return it to secure storage after tasks are completed
• Report cleaning issues, defects, or low stock levels to the Duty Manager
  
  Good attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards
• A strong awareness of health and safety in a working environment
• Good communication and customer care skills
• The ability to use initiative and work reliably as part of a team
• Basic literacy skills to complete records and checklists
