This role is based in the UK. Home Office guidance states that candidates must evidence their right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment, either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa.

Salary: MPS M1 £32,916 - M6 £45,351.28 Hours: 32.5 Contract: Temporary for 12 months in the first instance with view to potential permanent Location: Calverley CE Primary School Closing Date and Time: Monday 18th May 2026 at 9am

  • We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS/KS1 Teacher to join our warm and welcoming school community at Calverley CE Primary School. Set within wonderful, spacious school grounds, our EYFS/KS1 provision enables children to learn through exploration, play and meaningful outdoor experiences. You will be joining a supportive, settled and highly experienced staff team, where collaboration, professional dialogue and shared success are valued.   • Plan and deliver high-quality learning
  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment, both indoors and outdoors
  • Support children's personal, social, emotional and academic development, recognising and meeting individual needs
  • Use ongoing assessment and observation to inform next steps in learning
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and carers
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence and self-confidence
  • Work collaboratively with EYFS/KS1 colleagues, support staff and the wider school team
  • Contribute to a culture of continual improvement and reflective practice
