Full Job Description
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that are tailored to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs and EAL learners.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, resilience, and a love of learning.
- Use data-driven methods to assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, ensuring every child reaches their potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support for pupils.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and staff meetings.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding, behaviour management, and health and safety protocols.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). - A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- A proactive and reflective approach to teaching, with a willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
- An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
