Full Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and inspiring teacher to join Springfield Community Primary School, a nurturing and ambitious school rated Good by Ofsted in July 2025. Our school is proud of its strong community ethos, inclusive culture and commitment to ensuring every child thrives academically, socially and emotionally.
We are seeking a teacher who:
+ Brings strong KS2 teaching experience and can deliver high quality, engaging and adaptive learning.
+ Has a secure understanding of trauma informed practice and uses relational, predictable and regulation focused approaches to support childrens wellbeing.
+ Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive teaching, meeting the needs of pupils with SEND, EAL and varied starting points.
+ Uses assessment information effectively to identify next steps, plan interventions and secure strong outcomes.
+ Builds positive, trusting relationships with families and the wider community, including those facing complex circumstances.
+ Works collaboratively with colleagues, contributing positively to our supportive, reflective and inclusive staff culture.
+ Applies relational and restorative behaviour approaches to promote emotional regulation and engagement.
+ Reflects on their practice, responds to feedback and continually seeks to improve.
+ Holds high expectations for every child and believes strongly in their potential to succeed.
+ Brings warmth, consistency and emotional attunement, especially when supporting children with trauma histories.
+ Contributes to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.
+ Demonstrates commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, health & safety and maintaining excellent attendance.
