As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, caring and enthusiastic Reception/Year 1 Class Teacher to join our evolving organisation from 1st September 2026., This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020). - Have an understanding of the importance of spirituality in a small Church of England school and how this runs as a golden thread through our curriculum
- Be supportive and motivational towards all colleagues, being a positive role model in a small primary school.
- Contribute to the life and mission of the school through involvement in the work of the Parents, Teachers and Friends Association and with the delivery of extra-curricular clubs for the children.
- Ensure our pupils are safe, through establishing a trusting, open culture, placing a great emphasis on the safeguarding of all.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to work with all colleagues and have a strong understanding of how to create a vibrant and stimulating setting in which children and staff can thrive and flourish. We have grown steadily over time and currently serve 13 infant/primary schools, and 6 secondary schools.
