- Qualified Teacher Status
- Honours degree or equivalent
- Commitment to personal and professional development
- Successful primary teaching experience
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum

- A strong understanding of how children learn
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils' needs
- Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils

- Good ICT skills, particularly in using ICT to support learning
