The Headteacher and Governors of St Bartholomew's C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint a passionate, positive and skilled class teacher who is committed to playing an active role in the lives and continued development of our children and of our school. St Bartholomew's is located in the small town of Great Harwood, in East Lancashire and is easily accessible being 5 minutes from the M65 and approximately 20 minutes from most major towns in the area. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated staff team who share a commitment to providing the best possible education within a Christian setting. They will be enthusiastic and highly motivated and have high expectations in all areas of school life and a passion for ensuring the highest possible outcomes for pupils. • Degree or equivalent
• Recent Professional Development appropriate to the role, Further Qualifications and/or studies relevant to the age range
• Successful completion of NQT/ECT period (desirable but not essential)
• Full and active member of a church in membership of Churches Together in England
Essential Experience
• Successful experience of effective teaching within the primary phase
• Recent and relevant experience of teaching the National Curriculum
