Class Support Assistant - Prescot

Desian Education is currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Assistant for a full-time, long-term position within a highly regarded primary school in Prescot.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed individual to secure a stable, long-term role starting immediately. You will be an integral part of the classroom team, working closely with the teacher to support the learning and development of all pupils.

The Role:
Supporting the class teacher in the daily management of the classroom.
Assisting with the setup of learning activities and resources.
Working with small groups of children to boost their confidence in core subjects.
Helping to maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
Supporting pupils during break and lunch times where required.

Experience: You must have previous experience working as a Classroom Assistant or Teaching Assistant in a primary setting.

Attributes: A proactive nature, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting young learners.

Availability: Must be available for full-time hours (Mon-Fri) and ready to start immediately.

Compliance: A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential (or a willingness to apply for one immediately).
