Class 2 HGV Driver

As a TradeChoice Class 2 HGV Driver, you will:

- Performing multi-drop deliveries in a safe and timely manner

- Supervising the HGVs loading and unloading

- Ensuring the load is accurate and in keeping with customers orders

- Quality checking goods-off with customers and obtain their signature

- Maintaining compliance with tachograph law and safety regulations

- Ensuring cleanliness of the HGV and prevention to damage

- Reporting any accidents immediately in line with the accident reporting procedure

- Completing daily inspection sheet and hand to Operations Manager

- Proactivity regarding the vehicle inspection rota for servicing and MOT

- Providing support in the warehouse as required

- Any other duties as reasonably required.

Your working pattern:

- Monday to Friday

- Between 7am to 4pm

- 60-minute break

Driving in the UK (1 year)

- Highway code and road safety best practices

- HGV & delivery driving

- UK geographical knowledge

- Excellent driving skills and road etiquette (parking, safety, speed awareness, etc.)

- Ability to work to diversions

- Planning and organisation

- Thorough communication and reliability

- Awareness of health importance, particularly during autonomous working time.

- Manual/physical dexterity

- Interpersonal skills, particularly toward customers and colleagues

- Able to remain calm and conducive in stressful situations

- UK Driving Licence (Category C, Full, Clean)

- Class 2 HGV Licence

- Driver CPC
