- Ensuring all deliveries / tray collections / raw produce collections are completed as per instructions and on time to customer / site requirements. Accountability for accurate completion and return of all paperwork in line with company and customer procedures. Regularly communicating with the Transport team on delivery progress or issues/delays in a timely manner. Loading and Offloading (with assistance) is completed safely, and health and safety regulations are followed at all times. Observing and complying at all times with road transport and tachograph regulations. assist in the loading and unloading of customer orders using a pallet truck, or fork lift truck if certified. About You Hold a valid Class 2 HGV Licence, a valid Certificate of Professional Competence CPC and a current Digital Tachograph Driver Card, Class 2 driving experience and have less than 6 penalty points for minor offences. You will have a, sound knowledge of driver's
hours and tachograph regulations, You must have a professional and positive attitude and be punctual. Good communication / customer service skills Be flexible in driving other types of vehicles as required. Ability to work to deadlines. Working Shifts: (1)Thursday to Monday, (2)Wednesday to Sunday (3) Friday to Tuesday Working Hours: Variable Shifts consisting of Earlies, Lates and Overnight Shifts. 45 Hours per week, overtime available paid at basic hourly rate or time off in lieu Salary: £31,000 per annum, plus £2,000 per annum Weekend Working Allowance + Benefits: Statutory Benefits, 28 Days holiday (Pro-rata), Pension Scheme, Driver CPC Training Costs will be financed by the company upon renewal subject to a learning agreement, All workwear/Uniform is provided, Recruitment Referral Bonus Scheme To Apply: Please press the 'apply' button, and shortlisted candidates will be contacted by Barrowcliffes within 14 days.
