Full Job Description
As a Class 2 Driver, you will:
- Deliver products safely and efficiently to retail locations across the South West, operating from the Bristol distribution depot on behalf of a key customer.
- Manage secure access to retail premises, including alarm systems and store entry procedures, while ensuring accurate and compliant placement of goods within designated refrigeration units in line with customer requirements.
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
You must hold a valid UK Class 2 (C) licence. - A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
- As part of the recruitment process, successful candidates will be required to complete a Basic DBS check online due to the nature of the role.
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided to get you up to speed.

- A good understanding of UK road networks, particularly across Wales and surrounding regions, will help you navigate routes efficiently and avoid delays.
Competitive Salary: £16.09 per hour. Plus, for all hours worked between 21:00hrs & 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £2.75 per hour. - Shift Hours: Starting at 17:00hrs, working 11.25 hours per shift.
- Overtime: Paid at an hourly rate. Rest day working paid.
