Class 2 Driver

We're now looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Delivery of aluminium trunking to electrical wholesalers / building sites across the UK - maximum of 5 drops per day
• Deliveries are with an FLT so just opening and closing curtains and securing the load is required
• Start times between 04:00-06:00 Monday to Friday - no weekend working or bank holidays!!
• Day work only NO nights out
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks, Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (Cat C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Hours per week up to 45 - overtime paid for hours over 40 per week at time and a half
• Curtain side experience and use of straps to secure a load would be an advantage
• Live locally to site in West Brom B70 0EB
• Ideally have 12 months recent LGV Cat C driving experience due the nature of the delivery points
