Full Job Description
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Take on the challenge of collecting and delivering customers' products throughout the UK on a curtain-sided trailer.
- Master the art of load security with ratchet straps and part manual handling, ensuring every delivery is safe and secure.
- Leverage a handheld PDA to complete paperwork seamlessly and efficiently.
- Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently met.
- Experience the thrill of nights away, making each journey unique and fulfilling.
- Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills.
Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. - Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.

Competitive Salary: £38,287 - £41,032 per annum, depending on days worked. PLUS £2.75ph for all hours worked between 21:00pm and 04:00am and up to £5,200 per annum tax free night out allowance. - Shift Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 48 hours per week, various start times available.
